AREA INFORMATION

HOT SPRINGS, SD
Hot Springs is the host community for the LeanHorse Hundred & Half Hundred & 50K. The start and finish lines are just behind the Mueller Center on the East end of town. All 3 events begin at 6 AM.

Hot Springs, SD is 57 miles south of Rapid City, which is the city you will be flying into. Take SR 79 S for 49 miles to SR 18. Make a Right turn and proceed West about 9 miles.

Listed below you will find web sites for information about Hot Springs, Custer and Hill City... all the towns on the course.

100 milers should probably stay in the Hot Springs area all 4 nights (just tryin' to get you to stay awhile), and the others can spend Thursday and Friday nights in Hot Springs and Saturday night in Hill City ( you'll like it here, make sure to visit Buffalo Bob's for your Mickelson Trail souvenirs... he's a runner... tell him LeanHorse sent you).
